• Michael Grady and New Gulf Coast Choir, Inc. is a community based organization designed to be a vehicle that assists young people with today's challenges.
• The organization currently offers assistance in the areas of academics, social adaptation, performing arts, and community service.
• The organization is composed of a diverse group of youth, primarily, but not limited to age 7 through college.
• The "open door" membership policy welcomes any youth without regard for race, creed, color, gender, economic status, or national origin
.
• A primary focus of the choir is on low socio-economic youths, "at risk" youths, and youth from single parent homes.
• There are no membership dues, admission fees, annual fees, or auditions for this choir.
• The mission statement is: MICHAEL GRADY AND THE NEW GULF COAST CHOIR, INC. ENDEAVORS TO HELP COMMUNITY YOUTH MAKE A MEANINGFUL CONTRIBUTION TO SOCIETY BY OFFERING PROGRAMS AND ACTIVITIES TO THESE YOUTHS THAT WILL ENRICH THEIR LIVES SOCIALLY, ACADEMICALLY, AND SPIRITUALLY.
